Women’s Basketball @ Sports Hall 3
Oct 17 @ 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm

Basketball sessions are Activator led. There’s plenty of opportunity for you to play small-sided games, full games, shooting games and competitions. Come down with friends or by yourself and we’ll get you involved.

Lunch Time Kick about @ Oval 3G
Oct 17 @ 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm

Free football sessions as part of Active Students which are normally 5 or 6 a-side, depending on numbers. Just turn up on your own or with your mates, teams are decided at the session. Sessions take place on the new 3G pitch on College Lane.  There’s no need to preregister a team just turn up and play.

Tennis @ Oval MUGA
Oct 17 @ 4:00 pm – 5:00 pm

Turn up and join in our fun, relaxed and social tennis sessions. All equipment will be provided.

Ultimate Frisbee @ Sports Hall 2
Oct 17 @ 4:00 pm – 5:00 pm

Ultimate is a fast-moving team sport which is growing rapidly each year.  There are no referees, and it’s played with a flying disc.  Sessions are led by friendly, experienced players who are ready to teach you everything you need to know and to introduce you to this exciting sport!

Badminton @ Sports Hall 1 and 2
Oct 17 @ 5:00 pm – 6:00 pm

Badminton is a great social sport and will work on your fitness levels without you even noticing. Sessions are very friendly and relaxed which allows everyone to have maximum time on court! You can either come down with a group of mates or meet people there to hop on a court and play with.

All equipment is provided but just remember to bring along your student ID card.

Get Fit with Soccercise (female only) @ Oval Flexible Space
Oct 17 @ 5:15 pm – 6:00 pm

Soccercise is brand new to Active Students and a great session to improve your fitness and have a laugh with the girls. This session is suitable for all abilities, it doesn’t matter if you have never picked up a football before or if you are the biggest football enthusiast. This session will be great fun and the best part- it’s indoors!!! Just remember to bring your student ID card along.

Olympic Weightlifting (Xtra) @ Performance Herts Gym
Oct 17 @ 7:00 pm – 8:15 pm

The sessions are designed to help you to structure your own workouts using various lifts such as deadlifts, squats and the snatch; the session will be led by professional coaches who will cater to your ability. No experience needed!  This session is open for females and males but will cost £5 per person per session.

Roller Skating @ MUGA
Oct 17 @ 7:30 pm – 8:30 pm

The sessions are led by a qualified coach who will be there to teach you everything you need to know, whether you’re a total beginner or a skating superstar! We will provide you with all the equipment you need including elbow and knee pads, just in case!
